We are open to learning about how you would like your contribution to be treated within our repository.Submission CriteriaWe encourage the submission of articles, reports and projects focused on ecological research and monitoring that bridge Indigenous science and Western science. We are also seeking studies regarding management and decision making. This includes empirical studies focused on the processes and practices of bridging knowledge systems in the context of decision making (e.g., narwhal co-management) and those concerned with perceptions of environmental phenomena (e.g., observations of natural systems which are conducted with a synthesis of Indigenous science and Western science). · Environmental Context: Projects and case studies that concern ecological systems.· Content Focus: Projects and case studies where knowledge bridging or Two-Eyed Seeing are discussed.· Geographic Scope: Case studies conducted within Canada's jurisdictional boundaries, as well as cases where traditional Indigenous territories overlap contemporary nation-state boundaries (i.e., the Canada-US border).When completing this submission form, please include the Indigenous names of any species, places, languages, practices and principles in their appropriate languages. Submission ProcessAfter you have completed and submitted this form, the Reconciliation through Science team will reach out to you or the primary project contact to schedule a verification session. The purpose of the verification session is to discuss the project submission in further detail as well as establish a relationship.
